Good Type has a new site


Good type is a series of workshops with a focus on lettering design. Established in 2010 in Berlin and periodically organized in and out of Germany, it has already welcomed over 150 attendants who want to learn more about typography. Held by letterer and designer Martina Flor it is tailored for beginners as well as for those with previous experience who want to improve their techniques to draw letters.

Calligraphy Workshop – Copperplate Capitals


This class is oriented to beginners, but it is open to anyone interested in improving their handwriting skills and calligraphy.

English Copperplate is a calligraphic model developed in the 19th century and it is well known for its simple elegance, thin loops and quick strokes. -

The workshop will be in English and part of the tools are included in the price, just bring a pencil, eraser, an old brush and a long ruler.

Cyrillic Type Design Workshop


Interested at trying your hand at some Cyrillic type design? Want to understand better the history and way of writing the fourth most used alphabet in the world? Need some first hand, highly personalized first-hand advise and instruction from a talented native Cyrillic designer?
